Transport Requirements
Important
To hire an off-site kayak or surf ski, you must have a suitable roof rack system capable of safely transporting the craft.
This means:
✔ Quality cross bars
✔ Proper kayak cradles or protective foam padding
✔ Appropriate tie-down straps
✔ Secure bow and stern restraints where required
The safety of our customers, other road users and our equipment is extremely important.
If your roof rack system is not suitable, Sydney Harbour Kayaks reserves the right to refuse the rental.
Please contact us prior to collection if you are unsure whether your vehicle setup is appropriate.
Rental Bond
A refundable bond of $250 per kayak or surf ski applies to all off-site rentals.
The bond will be refunded upon return provided the craft is returned:
