Free Introduction to Freeride and Surf Ski Paddling Course (group of 3 students - minimum)

Every Sunday Mornings 9.30am to 12.30pm

Surf Ski and Freeride paddling embraces the spirit of freedom and speed.

It is about setting your own course; redefining boundaries and not being limited to one style of paddling.

Surf ski & Freeride kayaking blends the adventure of sea kayaking; the speed of surf ski paddling and the absolute thrill of catching swells and boat wakes or of surfing spilling waves.

Sea kayaking has always been about exploration and adventure, while the development of several 'stable' surfski type craft (like the  Blue Fin, Enduro, Cruze or 583 etc) have also made performance paddling accessible to everyone, including getting out there and catching some waves or wake.

Prerequisites: You must be an intermediate kayak or surfski paddler.

If you have never kayaked or surf ski paddled before, please enroll in the Learn to Kayak Lesson and the Kayak Safety Lesson prior to the Surf SKI Lesson.

The Paddle Safe / Paddle Smart Kayak Surf Ski Lessons are FREE.

If you do not have your own surf ski then the kayak rental will cost $55.00 for the duration of the lesson.

We rent a mixture of surf skis for this lesson - the primary craft is the Koastal Kayak Enduro or Mirage 583
