Sydney Harbour Kayaks have a large range of quality single and double kayaks available for off the beach hire.

We have a large range of beginner to advanced kayaks.

We also rent Stand-Up Paddle Surfboards.

Flatwater Stand-Up Paddle Surfing is an amazing and empowering way to tour around Sydney Harbour.

We rent 12 foot boards from SurfTech that allow you a very smooth and stable platform for paddling.

The minimum hire period is one hour.

Bookings are advisable and are essential on weekends and public holidays.

Kayaks and Paddle boards are available to anyone over the age of 16.

Children 15 and under need to be accompanied by an adult (18+ years of age) in a double kayak.

Children have to be a minimum age of six to come Kayaking.

PADDLE SAFE - Please read!!

* Wear your life jacket (PFD) at all times.
* Keep clear of marinas and middle channels.
* Paddle close to the shoreline as much as possible
* Do not paddle through the middle channel under the Spit Bridge.
* Cross channels at right angles and by the shortest distance only when it is safe.
* Give way to all sailing craft.
* Keep aware of the changing weather conditions.
* If you do not feel confidant return to Sydney Harbour Kayaks.
* Please advise our Beach Crew where you are going to paddle.
* Wear shoes if getting out of your kayak on any beaches - beware of oyster shells.
* Do not separate from your group.
* Be honest with your ability. Know your limitations.
